A servo motor drives the patented
injection axis. The drive technique used is a dual-toothed rack,
integrated into a housing together with the metering drive.
Non-wearing nozzle contact pressure
Nozzle
contact pressure occurs concentrically to the injection axis and
results in the torque-free and non-wearing connection between the
nozzle and mold. This is facilitated by a special joint that allows a
symmetrical transfer of force, as well as by further design features.
Fast change of plasticizing unit
The
plasticizing unit is equipped with a self-aligning, dual-wedge clamping
system. The special design and pluggable interfaces for air, water and
electrics enable the plastisizing unit to be changed quickly and easily
Flexible performance concept
The
metering axis is available in three different performance categories
and is driven by a servo motor. Drive unit force, speed and master
values can be adjusted to suit customer requirements.
